Meet Your Teacher
In the past few years I have taught voice lessons to singers of all ages, ranging from 5 to 65. I have enjoyed watching my students grow in their love of music and embrace the opportunities that come from it. I was so proud to see one of my students successfully audition for his middle school musical because of the confidence voice lessons gave him. I have played piano for over 15 years and have recently begun teaching beginner piano lessons with Good Grooves Music Lessons and Therapy.

My voice lessons are catered to your interests! I will teach you what YOU want to sing in a way that is fun and engaging. We will focus on healthy singing, and musical literacy. In our voice lessons you will learn how to read music, and you will become well versed in solfège, music theory, and ear training.
ALL ABOUT KATHERINE
Katherine is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where she achieved a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music with a concentration in Vocal Performance. At UNC Katherine studied with Dr. Marc Callahan and Dr. Melissa Martin. Katherine also studied in Paris where she studied with French soprano, Chantal Santon. Starting January 2021, she will be pursuing her Masters of Music in Opera and Vocal Performance at the Eastman School of Music under the direction of Dr. Jonathan Retzlaff.
